Commercial property firm McGees Property has unveiled a dedicated Advisory division, marking a strategic move to strengthen its consultancy offering and deliver more tailored solutions to clients navigating complex property matters.
The new division will be led by respected industry figure Rachel Elliott, who brings over three decades of experience across South Australia’s property landscape.
Her career includes senior roles such as Director at M3 Property and Chief Valuer at Land Services SA, and she currently serves on multiple industry boards and committees.
Elliott holds leadership positions with several influential bodies, including her role as an executive council member for the UDIA SA and as deputy board chair at Believe Housing Australia.
Simon Lambert, Managing Partner at McGees Property, said the appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to meeting an identified gap in the market.
“We’ve seen growing demand for high-level property advisory and consultancy work. But we knew the success of this division hinged on bringing in the right expertise,” Lambert said.
“Rachel’s deep valuation background and broad industry insight make her the ideal person to lead this evolution of our business.”
Elliott said the move to McGees felt like a natural progression and a timely opportunity to shape a new arm of the business.
“This role allows me to draw on everything I’ve learnt throughout my career – from valuation to strategic planning – and deliver genuinely helpful, practical advice,” she said.
“What makes this opportunity even more exciting is the ability to collaborate with McGees’ wider team, whose depth of experience across commercial property is second to none.”
The new Advisory division is expected to focus on high-level strategy, risk analysis, property solutions, and commercial guidance for clients ranging from government to private enterprise.
