Harcourts Golden Link Offers Car Giveaway to Drive Sales in Auckland’s Mount Wellington

Harcourts Golden Link Three Kings is gifting a Toyota Camry Hybrid GX, valued at AUD$44,800 (NZ$50,000), to the first five purchasers of townhouses in The Glade development, located in Auckland’s Mount Wellington, just 12 kilometres from the CBD.

Buyers also have the option to choose a car of equivalent value.

The promotion, which coincides with Black Friday, requires buyers to sign contracts before 29 November to qualify. The townhouses are priced at AUD$716,000 (NZ$799,000), with three reportedly under contract as of today.

The agency has rolled out an aggressive marketing campaign to promote the offer, leveraging platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and the Chinese social media network WeChat to reach a wide audience.

Paul Ko, manager of Harcourts Golden Link Three Kings, told OneRoof that the initiative is likely a first in New Zealand’s real estate market.

“This promotion is particularly appealing to first-home buyers and younger purchasers,” Mr. Ko said.

“It’s a chance to secure a brand-new home and a brand-new car simultaneously. With the units ready for occupancy, buyers can move in before Christmas, making it the perfect holiday gift.”

The Glade, developed by Unispot, features 140 dwellings. The homes included in the car giveaway offer are fully completed and come with four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a single carport.

Mr. Ko emphasised that the campaign’s timing aligns with the festive season, creating added incentive for buyers to take advantage of the unique offer.
