Harcourts Cooper & Co. win prestigious New Zealand Sport and Recreation Award

We are delighted to announce that Harcourts Cooper & Co. has won the Commercial Partnership Award at the 2025 New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards.
The announcement, made tonight by Sport NZ at a ceremony at the Tākina Events Centre in Wellington, highlights the outstanding partnership between Harcourts Cooper & Co. and He Toa Taua – Harbour Sport, which has made a lasting impact on community wellbeing across the North Harbour region.
The partnership was recognised for its commitment to supporting a range of community initiatives, including over 400 events annually that engage approximately 26,000 participants, including 11,681 young people.
Through these events, the partnership has significantly contributed to promoting an active lifestyle, fostering community connections and encouraging children and families to stay physically active.
Raelene Castle, Sport NZ Group Chief Executive, expressed the importance of such initiatives: “This year’s nominations were fantastic.
They showed how dedicated and passionate people in our sector are, and how much they care about improving the wellbeing of our communities every day.”
For Harcourts Cooper & Co, the recognition is a testament to the brand’s deep-rooted commitment to the local community.

Mike Stanley CNZM, Chair of the judging panel, noted that this year’s awards featured a particularly high calibre of entries, making the decision even more rewarding for the winners.
