Gregg Tickelpenny Re-Signs Five Top Performing Offices to Ray White New Zealand


After almost 24 years as an integral part of the Ray White New Zealand network, Ray White Te Awamutu, Otorohanga, Te Kuiti, Tokoroa, and Taumarunui principal Gregg Tickelpenny has re-signed his five offices with Ray White for the next five years.


Living in Te Awamutu his whole life, Mr Tickelpenny bought Ray White Te Awamutu in 1999, after a change from his former career as a chartered accountant.


Over the past two decades, Mr Tickelpenny has expanded his business to include offices in Otorohanga, Te Kuiti,Tokoroa and Taumarunui.


Mr Ticklelpenny now employs 27 salespeople and five admins across his five offices.


“The success of the business comes down to the strength of the team,” Mr Tickelpenny said.


“We have a strong admin team and a cross range of agents between experienced agents and new agents.


“We’ve been an Elite business for the past four years in a row, and that success has continued this year as we head into what appears to be our best year yet compared to other pre-Covid years.”


Mr Tickelpenny won Ray White New Zealand’s coveted CEO Cup award in 2017 for his mammoth contributions to the network including his role as chairperson of the Central North Island Zone.


He said he enjoyed being part of the Ray White family.


“Ray White New Zealand executive chairman Carey Smith has been my main mentor over the years,” Mr Tickelpenny said.


“Both the White family and the Ray White New Zealand corporate team are very supportive and accessible. Ray White New Zealand Chief Executive Daniel Coulson came to our office to celebrate our most recent Elite Business award.


“I’ve enjoyed watching the growth of Ray White New Zealand and we have followed along on a similar trajectory.

“We currently have a 28 per cent market share across the five office areas we work in.”


Ray White New Zealand Chief Executive Daniel Coulson thanked Mr Tickelpenny for his contributions over the past five years.
