Property Brokers takes top honours in four categories ahead of competitors, and were finalists in a further fifteen categories at the 2025 REINZ Awards for Excellence.
We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Property Brokers has again made a significant mark at the REINZ Awards for Excellence. We were honoured to receive multiple awards and recognitions spanning multiple key disciplines and divisions, further solidifying our position as real estate industry leaders. Our four Award winners, who cover sales, rural, property management, and support, recognise stars within each core segment of our overall business.
One of the standout moments of the evening was Property Brokers Ashburton winning the Rural Office of the Year (Small) award. The Ashburton team has won this award in previous years, but with nominees Chris Murdoch and Greg Jopson from Ashburton taking the stage and reclaiming the award for the office after an exceptional year, was a sweet victory for our Canterbury rural team.
"We're proud to cement our position as provincial leaders in rural real estate, with our Ashburton office leading the way in what has been a strengthening rural market over the last year. Our Ashburton office has a massive history in rural real estate. To secure the Small Rural Office of the Year title and have two members of the team named as national finalists for the coveted 'Rural Salesperson of the Year' is an outstanding achievement for Canterbury and the Property Brokers rural division," says Conrad Wilkshire, General Manager Rural at Property Brokers.
We are also incredibly proud of Matt Oliver from our Waipukurau branch, named Individual Residential Salesperson of the Year (Highest Sales Volume), and Matt's Personal Assistant, Vicki Winlove, honoured as Personal Assistant of the Year (Non-Selling). With the support of Matt's other PA, Emma Oliver, their combined dedication, expertise, and client-first approach have quickly made them standout talents in the Central Hawke's Bay, delivering outstanding results for their clients time and time again. Matt's REINZ recognition follows his achievement of being named the Property Brokers top salesperson of 2024-2025 at our national conference in June, a title he has proudly held for multiple years.
Palmerston North Property Manager, Jesse Walker, was honoured to be named Residential Property Manager Rising Star of the Year, highlighting his exceptional determination, skills, and high level of service to his landlords and tenants during his first year in the Property Management industry.
We're equally proud to be a finalist again for Large Agency of the Year (All Disciplines), and to be recognised as the only provincial real estate agency to contribute over one million dollars annually to our communities, charities and sports clubs, supporting over 550 organisations across regional New Zealand as the runner up of the Large Community Service Award.
