One Day. One Rule. One Donation.
Forget polished brogues. Put away the pumps. Hide the heels.
On Friday, 17 July 2026, Harcourts offices across Australia and New Zealand will swap their usual work shoes for sneakers as part of the inaugural Sneaker Day 2026, a new Harcourts Foundation initiative designed to raise funds, build community and prove that doing good can be as simple as changing your shoes.
The concept couldn't be easier.
Wear sneakers to work.
Make a donation.
Encourage your colleagues to join in.
From classic Converse and pristine white trainers to vintage Jordans and fluorescent runners, anything goes.
The rule is simple:
One Day. One Rule. One Donation.
Harcourts Managing Director Mike Green said Sneaker Day reflected the generosity and spirit that exists throughout the Harcourts network.
"At Harcourts, community has always been at the heart of what we do," Mr Green said.
"Sneaker Day is a chance for all of us to have a bit of fun, showcase a little personality and, most importantly, make a difference through the Harcourts Foundation. It's simple, accessible and something every person and every office can be part of."
The campaign will also feature a leadership challenge, with senior leaders across Australia and New Zealand revealing their sneaker choices and encouraging offices to get involved.
Expect sneaker reveals.
Unexpected fashion choices.
A few questionable decisions.
And plenty of good-natured rivalry.
To add to the fun, offices will compete for Sneaker Day bragging rights through categories including:
• Best Sneaker
• Most Creative Sneaker
• Best Team Sneaker Moment
• Sneaker Champion 2026
Pauline Smith, Head of the Harcourts Foundation, said the initiative was a reminder that generosity doesn't have to be complicated.
"The Harcourts Foundation exists because of the generosity of our people and our communities, and Sneaker Day is a wonderful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference," Ms Smith said.
"We're inviting everyone to put their best foot forward – quite literally – by lacing up their favourite sneakers, making a donation and having a bit of fun along the way."
"Whether you're wearing brand-new trainers, your trusty old runners or the sneakers you've been saving for a special occasion, every step taken on Sneaker Day helps us continue supporting people and causes that need it most."
Funds raised in Australia and New Zealand will support their respective Harcourts Foundations and the local initiatives and charitable partnerships they champion.
No gala dinners.
No black ties.
No marathon training.
Just sneakers.
So, dust off your favourite pair, gather your team and prepare to answer one very important question:
Who has the best sneaker game in the Harcourts network?
Sneaker Day 2026.
One Day. One Rule. One Donation.
