Ray White Takes Over the Far North

Ray White continues its growth in the far north of the country as business owner Sean Stratton expands his footprint with the acquisition of multiple offices across the Northland region.

Mr Stratton, the owner of Ray White Kaitaia, Doubtless Bay, Kaikohe, Kawakawa, and Paihia, has recently acquired the Ray White Kerikeri business from former owner Laura Knox-Whyte, and the Ray White Russell business from former owner Dianne Wynyard.

He has also acquired a number of far north businesses from a competitor brand from their former owner Tom Rutherford.

With a plan to bring together the new businesses with his current business, Mr Stratton will be working alongside Mr Rutherford who has joined the team as the Sales Manager for the group of far north businesses.

Ms Knox-Whyte will also remain part of the business in a leadership capacity as well as Ms Wynyard.

Mr Stratton said he was excited to expand his business further across the far north.

“I am thrilled to announce the acquisition and merger of these far north businesses,” he said.

“This strategic move aligns with our vision for growth and excellence in serving the real estate needs of the Northland community.

“I look forward to working with the talented teams from these offices and building on their success.”

Ray White New Zealand Executive Chairman Carey Smith said the strategic addition of offices and expertise further solidified Ray White's position as a leading real estate agency in the Northland region.

“The acquisition of Ray White Kerikeri and the competitor businesses by Sean Stratton is a testament to the growth potential and success of the Ray White brand,” Mr Smith said.

“We are excited to see the positive impact this expansion will have on the real estate market in the region.”

Ray White New Zealand Chief Executive Daniel Coulson congratulated Mr Stratton on his growing business.

“We congratulate Sean Stratton on this significant acquisition,” Mr Coulson said.

“His dedication to expanding his business, supported by Ray White, showcases the strength of our network, value of leadership and support of ambition.

“We look forward to supporting both the communities and continued success of Ray White in the Northland region under Sean's leadership."
