The Australasian Real Estate Conference, AREC26, has confirmed Nick Georges, Director at Wingman Group as host of the Property Management Hall, marking a significant moment for one of the most important and fast-evolving sectors in real estate.

Taking place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday 24 May and Monday 25 May 2026, AREC26 will again bring together some of the strongest voices in the industry, with the dedicated Property Management Hall designed to give property managers, principals and business leaders a clear view of where the sector is heading next.

For Georges, the opportunity is about more than hosting a program. It is about helping shift the conversation around property management from pressure, burnout and operational stress, to leadership, innovation, commercial strength and long-term career pride.

Property management has long been described as the engine room of real estate, but in many agencies it has not always received the profile, investment or recognition it deserves.

The AREC26 Property Management Hall is set to challenge that.

Across the two-day program, the Property Management Hall will explore the future of technology, stronger team structures, leadership, investor relationships, operational performance and the role property managers will play in shaping the next generation of real estate businesses.

Georges said the moment is an important one for the sector.

Property management is at a turning point. The industry has an opportunity to stop treating property management as a support function and start recognising it as one of the most important parts of the real estate business.

Great property managers are relationship builders, risk managers, problem solvers, revenue protectors and brand ambassadors. They are often the people holding the client experience together every single day.

My goal with the AREC26 Property Management Hall is to help property managers feel seen, inspired and equipped. This is not about telling people to work harder. It is about giving them better ideas, stronger systems, more leadership and a clearer sense of where this sector can go.

The program comes at a time when the property management industry is facing significant pressure, including staff retention challenges, rising client expectations, increased compliance demands and the need for smarter technology adoption.

Rather than focus only on the difficulties, Georges believes AREC26 is an opportunity to reset the tone.

The best property managers do not need more noise. They need clarity, confidence and leadership. They need to hear from people who understand the reality of the role and can offer practical ways forward.

This is a chance to inspire the sector, to remind property managers of the value they bring, and to help business owners understand that the future of their agencies will be heavily influenced by how well they support, structure and lead their property management teams.

The AREC26 Property Management Hall will feature leading voices from across real estate, technology, coaching and leadership, with sessions focused on performance, innovation, team culture and the future role of property management inside modern agencies.

For Georges, the ambition is clear.

If we can help property managers walk away feeling more energised, more respected and more prepared for the future, then we have done something meaningful. Property management deserves a bigger stage, and AREC26 gives us the opportunity to put it there.

AREC26 will be held on 24 and 25 May 2026 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
