New Zealand Winners Shine at Record-Breaking Australasian Awards Event

Pioneering real estate network, One Agency, celebrated a landmark year of growth and success at its annual Australasian Awards night, held recently at the prestigious Doltone House at Hyde Park in Sydney, Australia. 

The event marked the network’s largest awards ceremony to date, with over 200 members and staff from across New Zealand and Australia gathering to recognise the outstanding achievements of the year.

CEO & Founder of One Agency, Paul Davies, highlighted the rapid expansion of the international brand, which welcomed 20 new offices in 2025, as well as the ethos driving the network’s success.

“This year’s awards night is a testament to the incredible growth and success of our network. It’s inspiring to see so many of our talented professionals come together to celebrate their achievements,” says Mr Davies.

“Our vision of independence backed by strength is what sets us apart, and tonight’s winners exemplify that spirit.”

A strong commitment to community was recognised with the Community Service Award for New Zealand being presented to One Agency Your Place. This award highlights the team’s dedication to making a positive difference in their local area, embodying the principle that a real estate business thrives when it actively supports and engages with the community it serves.

Individual talent was also on full display, with Cathy Myers of One Agency Select Realty being named New Zealand’s Sales Rookie of the Year, with the top honour for individual sales performance, Sales Consultant of the Year, awarded to Angela Hunt from One Agency Real Estate Specialists. 

Leadership and business acumen were also celebrated, with Mike Goatley of One Agency Real Estate Specialistswinning Selling Principal of the Year, acknowledging his dual success in not only achieving significant personal sales but also effectively leading and growing his office.

The strength of the One Agency model in New Zealand was further underscored by the office awards. One Agency The Property Specialists – Oamaru was named Boutique Office of the Year, a testament to their agility, client-focused service, and growing performance in their local market. While in the major office category, One Agency The Property Specialists – Dunedin took home the award for Large Office of the Year, recognising operational excellence and collective success of the high-performing team.

The event was co-emceed by real estate industry leader and entrepreneur, Nic Fren, alongside One Agency’s Global Head of Membership, Mindy Powell-Hodges, who guided attendees through a memorable night of celebration.
