SOLD ON KAPITI took to Instagram recently to celebrates its second anniversary as a thriving business entity.

Founded by seasoned industry professionals Chris Judd & Karl Matakatea, the company acknowledges this significant milestone with gratitude for its journey and accomplishments.

SOLD ON KAPITI, underpinned by a commitment to excellence and unwavering integrity, has grown to become a respected presence in the real estate market.

The agency's core strength lies in its ability to deliver personalized services and exceed client expectations in every real estate transaction.

The agency's success is attributed to a dedicated team of professionals who collectively bring extensive industry experience and expertise to the table.

Mr Matakatea, the youngest and best dressed of the team was born and bred in Horowhenua and he set up the call centre for property data company CoreLogic NZ, before becoming a salesperson and trainer helping real estate agents across the country with software database education.

Six years later that he was snapped up to work for a local real estate company as its property suite specialist, where he stayed for two years as the national trainer.

Having always wanted to be a real estate salesperson so when the chance came along he took it with both hands, joining SOK was a big risk at the time but taking the opportunity proved to be one of the best things he's ever done.

For Mr Judd, after travelling and living between New Zealand, Australia and the United States, finally put roots down in Waikanae a few years ago.

According to Mr Judd, although he'd always worked in the golf industry, whether it was sales, teaching or repping, when we moved back to the coast there weren’t a lot of career options in that industry. When my brother-in-law, who co-owned a real estate company, encouraged me to do my license, the rest was history.
